University Centre Weston (UCW) is proud to announce the resounding success of the Print and Book Fair organised by our exceptional Photography and Visual Cultures Degree students. The three-day event, held at the local We Are Super space in the Sovereign Centre from Thursday 15th June to Saturday 17th June, showcased the immense creativity and talent of these emerging artists.
The Print and Book Fair served as a platform for UCW students to exhibit their original works, independently taking charge of every aspect of the event, including organisation, marketing, printing, and staffing. With their dedication and commitment, the students transformed the We Are Super space into a captivating hub for photography and visual arts enthusiasts.
Sam, HE Programme Coordinator and Lecturer for the Photography and Visual Cultures course at UCW, expressed his admiration for the students’ accomplishments, stating: “The students did an excellent job – independently organising, marketing, printing and manning the space.”
The Print and Book Fair at We Are Super was a huge success, thanks to the unwavering dedication and talent of the Photography and Visual Cultures Degree students. As these emerging artists continue to push the boundaries of their craft, we eagerly anticipate their future contributions to the world of photography and visual arts.
Fantastic work and congratulations to all our incredible students and staff that took part!
