UCW are proud to announce a fantastic set of results from the National Student Survey! This year’s survey has shown that UCW are above the sector average in seven out of the nine areas surveyed.
One of the standout achievements is UCW’s Mental Wellbeing Services, which scored an impressive 14.2% above the Sector Wide Average at 92.8%. This significant margin highlights the effectiveness and dedication of UCW’s mental health support staff, ensuring students thrive both academically and personally.
The results show strong success for UCW staff and students, with ‘Teaching on My Course’ being scored at 88.4%, and academic support being awarded 89.4%. Freedom of expression was also shown to be strong at UCW, with 90.1%.
Vice Principal for Higher Education, Sadie Skellon, expressed immense pride in UCW’s achievements, saying: “We are really pleased with these results and delighted that students have rated their time at UCW so positively. We are particularly pleased that they recognise the excellent support available to them as we believe this is one of our key strengths and so important to help students be successful. We hope this will encourage other students to apply to us knowing that the UCW experience is a positive one”.
