The lovely greyhound Shadow has been on tour!
After well as popping in to the Winter Gardens for some much-deserved strokes from our students last week, the gorgeous Greyhound also visited our Animal Management learners.
In a workshop led by Shadow’s owner Wendy, the class learnt all about how greyhounds’ bodies are adapted to meet the demands of greyhound racing as well as the ethical considerations behind the sport and how we can ensure we look after all their needs as pet owners.
Thanks to Wendy for delivering the workshop and we hope we see Shadow again soon!
