We are excited to be hosting an exciting competition, open to local residents!
This student organised competition is aimed at non-professional photographers, split into two age categories (16-18 / 19+). We’re keen to help support your career growth and recognition, providing exposure to the community and the chance for your submissions to be reviewed by our panel expert photographers on the BA (Hons) Photography and Visual Cultures Degree.
The aim of this competition is to show us and the world what got you through a tough point in your life. Therefore we are challenging you to interpret the theme of ‘What got you through?’.
It could be a person, a place, a particular object or something completely different!
The contest is open for submissions from now until April 26th.
This year’s prizes are:
- 16-18 Category: £100 Amazon Voucher + Exhibition of your photograph in the UCW Photo Collective end of year show.
- 19 or Over Category: £100 Amazon Voucher + Exhibition of your photograph in the UCW Photo Collective end of year show.
- The UCW Photo 2021 Judges Prize: £100 Newspaper Club Voucher.
