Congregation in preparation for procession  

The Programme Coordinator for your course will be here to meet you, you will need to get into alphabetical order by surname and remain in this order until after the ceremony. 

Outside the HEART office on the ground floor of the Winter Gardens

Procession  

Students will process up to the church in alphabetical order by surname. This will take up to 15mins (approx.). Please remember to wear comfortable shoes.

When entering the church, a member of staff will meet you and direct you to your seats, you MUST remain in alphabetical order.

Ceremony begins 

When it is your course’s turn to graduate, you will be invited by a member of staff to queue in order at the edge of the stage. When your name is called you will walk across the stage, collect your scroll, and return to your seat using the central aisle.

Procession 

The procession will go down the hill and to the seafront side of the Winter Gardens for the Ballroom. 

From St. John the Baptist Church to the Winter Gardens 

17:00 – 18:00 

Drinks reception 

The procession will enter the Winter Gardens Ballroom where you will be able to reunite and celebrate with your friends and family and enjoy a celebratory toast.
