As part of the degree apprenticeship RNDA learners will combine their studies at UCW as well as undertaking practical on job work-based learning, external placements, and elective days. As you will learn whilst gaining hands-on experience you will be able to put your studies into practice immediately. You will see how your skills translate into the workplace, benefitting the service users, their families, and your colleagues.

The classroom-based elements of the programme
could include:

• Preparation for professional practice
• Physiology, pharmacology, and public health
• Complexities of health
• Evidenced-based pharmacology
• Assessment and clinical reasoning
• Healthcare research methods
• Leadership and supervision

Applicants must have a level 2 English and Maths and 112 UCAS Tariff points or equivalent.

Applicants who have previous learning that may be relevant to the BSc (Hons) Nursing (Apprenticeship) (Adult) may apply for recognition of prior learning (RPL).  Applications for consideration of RPL {Accredited Learning/Accredited Experiential Learning (AL/AEL)} should identify this through the admissions process who will facilitate an application.  The Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) permit a maximum allowance of 50% of RPL
