Within this short course you will begin to develop an informed personal and professional ethos regarding inclusion and provision for children, young people and their families with SEND.
You will be introduced to the principles of social justice and equity, at both a personal and a conceptual level.
You will develop skills to reflect on your own identity and position in relation to disability, inclusion and social justice, as well as a greater understanding of key issues facing those with lived experience of personal and structural social injustice.
Funding of short courses:
All of our courses cost £2,900 but have a variety of flexible funding options available to them. There are also some discounts available to partner organisations or those sending more than one employee.
You employer / organisational may be able to part or fully fund your place via their staff development budget, alternatively you could take out a Student Loan, which does not need to be repaid until after you have completed your studies and are earning. Taking out a loan would not impact on your eligibility to access further funding to undertake a degree in the future.
If you have any questions or would like further information regarding funding, please contact us at finance@ucw.ac.uk
