      Criminology and Public Services, BSc (Hons)


      Level 6

      This three-year degree offers a fascinating insight for those with an interest in sociology, crime and criminal justice; and are wishing to pursue a career in the public service sector. You will study the principles of sociological, criminological and the legal concepts, approaches and methodologies, gaining a critical understanding of crime, criminal justice, and their relationship with the law.

      This degree will help you to develop a critical understanding of social science research methodologies and ethics; applying them to the social environment. This is a new and exciting, multifaceted programme that will give you a fascinating insight into the world of criminology, criminal justice, sociology and government policy within the context of the public sector.

      Duration:

      Full-time: 3 years (2 days a week)
      Part-time: 4 years (1 day a week)

      Fees:

      Full-time: £9,250 per year
      Part-time: £6,935 per year
