University Centre Weston works in close partnership with Children’s University, a charity and national initiative that provides children between the ages of 5-16 years old access to exciting and educational extra-curricular activities.
Members of the North Somerset branch have been working extremely hard for the past year and have taken part in a wide range of activities. So many activities that several members have achieved their first milestone award of completing 30 hours of activity!
To celebrate the occasion, UCW were proud to host North Somerset Children’s University’s first graduation celebration at the Winter Gardens campus this month. Each member got dressed up in caps and gowns, attended their graduation ceremony, received their very own award, had some photographs taken with their family and friends and finished the evening off with a slice of cake!
Overall, a successful celebration by all accounts!
