Welcome to UCW Headstart!
This series of online and in person events is for all potential students that have expressed and interest, applied or are in the process of applying for a HE course at UCW.
In total there will be four meetings, each focusing on different elements to help give you a head start before joining us in September.
- Headstart 1: Wednesday 7th April 2021
The first meeting will be run by the UCW HEART Team via Zoom. On this session you will be able to discuss anything from: how to apply, your application, finance and if needed any additional learning support you may have/need.

Headstart 2: Monday 10th May 2021
The second meeting will be on Microsoft Teams. This will give you the chance to have one-to-ones with your potential tutor and to ask individually any questions that you may have about studying here or about the course in general and also meet current students, who will be available to share their experiences at UCW.

- Headstart 3: Tuesday 8th June 2021
Here we will discuss work based learning, employability and postgraduate study going forward. As well as have another opportunity to talk with students.

Headstart 4: Tuesday 6th – Thursday 8th July 2021
This session will incorporate academic workshops aimed at bringing you up to speed with academic and technological skills.

These sessions are relevant to those who have AND haven’t applied. If you missed our March open week, we are also hosting an open day on Saturday 12th June.
