Jamie is the curriculum coordinator for our Art & Design faculty. He has worked in Higher Education for over a decade teaching across photography, lens-based media and art & design pathways. He has a degree in photography and completed his MA in Graphic Arts (with distinction) in 2017. His personal work investigates the dynamics of knowledge and power with interests in how we learn, how we are taught, the nature of knowledge and how our understanding of the world informs class struggle and identity politics. He often works between museum spaces and field studies exploring the relationships we have to the objects that are used to narrate our cultural histories.
