UCW Art and Design is delighted to be part of North Somerset Arts Week showcasing the best of our creative student talent with Open Campus on Saturday May 3rd, 10AM – 3PM at Loxton Campus, Loxton Road, W-S-M.
As well as a brilliant selection of exhibiting artists, we’ve got a wonderful workshop schedule lined up for the day, all run by staff and students from the HE Art and Design programme. All sessions are FREE and bookable via the links below.

A pair of scissors, a stick of glue, and a pile of magazines waiting to be taken out of context? Delve deep into our boxes of paper goodies and cut-paste and glue together a weird & wonderful collage.

Create your own mini sketchbooks using different mediums and methods like abstract drawing, mark making (creating lines, patterns, textures, and shapes), drawing with scissors, marbling etc.

North Somerset Arts Week is back with over 200 local artists showcasing their work across the county. From painting to ceramics, textiles and jewellery – there’s something for everyone to enjoy! Check out the website for more information and we hope to see you at Loxton campus on May 3rd!
