Our Education and Early Years learners are off to Budapest, Hungary for an exciting residential trip! Learners will be staying near the impressive Great Market Hall and close to the River Danube, an ideal location to access the city centre and explore the beauty and culture of the city.
Trips have been set up to local kindergartens so that students can immerse themselves in educational settings and experience first-hand the approach that is taken to early years in Hungary. Students will also be visiting the National Educational Museum and Library which offers the largest collection of educational history in Central and Eastern Europe. A planned walking tour of Budapest will help to show learners and staff the key sights and history of the city, and will end at the Fisherman’s Bastion, a stunning architectural UNESCO World Heritage site in Buda Castle.
The students will also have plenty of free time to explore Budapest for themselves. The weather forecast is currently looking perfect, cold but with bright blue skies and plenty of sunshine which will really help to enhance the beauty of this lovely city.
