Last week, UCW embraced the holiday spirit with its ‘Tis the Season’ event, bringing students and staff together for a festive celebration.
Visitors were welcomed with free mince pies and hot chocolate, before heading over to the busy stalls.
Our Hair, Makeup and Prosthetics for Production students added sparkle to the festivities, decorating hair with shimmering tinsel, while glass jewellery and art was available for purchase—ideal for unique, handcrafted gifts. Attendees could also try their hand at wreath-making, adding a personal touch to their seasonal decorations.
For those seeking sustainable gifts, the Sustainability Society sold eco-friendly wrapping paper and Christmas decorations made from recycled materials. Meanwhile, the Dungeons and Dragons Society invited visitors to join their next campaign.
The event included a lively music performance by Performing Arts students. Their talent and enthusiasm brought everyone together and kept the event going.
