This innovative initiative underscores UCW’s commitment to fostering strong relationships with leading employers, ensuring that students gain essential industry experience and practical skills that are crucial for their future careers.
At UCW, we recognize that hands-on experience and professional connections are key components of a successful counselling career. To this end, we have partnered with respected organisations in the industry, including In Charley’s Memory, We Are With You, Heart to Heart, Vine Counselling Services, The Space, and Mothers for Mothers. In addition to this we are also working with Wanted not Wasted, Worle School, Strode College and Off The Record. These collaborations will provide students with unparalleled opportunities to engage directly with experienced professionals, apply their learning in real-world settings, and develop the confidence and skills needed to thrive in their careers.
The counselling Careers Excellence Hub will offer a variety of programs and services, including internships, workshops, and networking events, all aimed at preparing students for successful careers in counselling.
