Joshua, nominated for Creative Student of the Year at UCW, has shown exceptional commitment to his studies for the BA Hons Photography and Visual Cultures programme. Always actively engaged in his learning, Josh is dedicated to pushing himself to achieve his best.
Starting his journey in the first year with little confidence, Josh has sought support and worked hard to build on his strengths. He has taken advantage of nearly all available opportunities and initiated many of his own. Notably, he made connections with the Photo Frome festival and organised a tour for fellow students and staff. He has also entered and won competitions and arranged a stall at an international photo book fair for his peers.
Josh is a supportive and positive member of his group, contributing to raising the profile of UCW both within and beyond Weston. His dedication and proactive approach make him a deserving nominee for this award.
