Student Experience: Katie’s Journey

Katie Holl, a recent HTQ graduate, shares her positive experience. “When I was deciding what to do after Year 13, I wanted an option that blended classroom learning with practical application. HTQs provided the perfect balance for my learning style, preparing me for a career in a way that degrees and apprenticeships couldn’t,” says Katie.

Katie’s journey exemplifies the benefits of HTQs. She highlights the hands-on experience and the reassurance of learning skills that employers want. “The course challenged me, gave me the skills I needed for my future career, and was a lot of fun. The practical elements and use of the latest technology were particularly engaging. I feel ready to get a job and move quickly into higher-paid roles within my field.”

Katie’s story underscores the value of HTQs for students seeking a career-focused education. UCW’s commitment to high-quality technical education ensures graduates are well-prepared to meet the demands of the modern workplace.
