On Tuesday 18th April, we held our annual UCW Awards at the Winter Gardens on Weston-super-Mare’s seafront.
The evening was a huge success, with so many of our incredible students being recognised for their hard work and dedication.
We were treated to some fantastic performances from our very own BA (Hons) Musical Theatre students before a delicious dinner, catered by the Royal Hotel team.
Awards were then presented by Sir Paul Phillips CBE, Principal and Chief Executive of the Weston College Group.
We would like to say a huge thank you to our main event sponsors and Parkside House student accommodation development partners, DPL Partnership Limited. It’s thanks to their generosity and support that we are able put on such fantastic celebrations for our brilliant students and staff. DPL Partnership Limited Director, James Davison, joined Sir Paul Phillips on stage to hand out the prestigious Principal’s Gold Awards.
We would also like to say a big thank you to our publication sponsor PACE for designing and printing the fantastic booklets detailing all the nominations for the evening.
